13/11/23 - It is with tremendous pleasure that Life Sciences WA announces the appointment of Dr Tobias Schoep as its new CEO.
This newly created position reflects the growth of Life Sciences WA and the commitment to achieving the organisation’s goal of connecting, accelerating and promoting Life Sciences innovation in Western Australia.
Tobias brings a wealth of experience in the biotechnology, academic and business domains working across health sciences and agriculture.
Tobias’ previous roles include research positions with the Telethon Kids Institute, UC Santa Barbara, Ondek, and Rumen Biotech. Tobias is the Founder of Grow Impact, a software solution that enables research organisations to showcase the progress of their research to investors and stakeholders. Tobias has completed a Bachelor of Science (Biological Science) and a Doctor, Philosophy from Murdoch University.
Tobias will work closely with the Life Sciences WA Committee and will focus on each of the core industry areas including research, agritech, medtech, biotech and aquaculture.
