The Australian Centre for Quantitative Imaging - Research Symposium

The Australian Centre for Quantitative Imaging (ACQI) research symposium will showcase research conducted in WA in the field of medical imaging analytics, spanning the extraction of useful diagnostic or prognostic biomarkers to the use of artificial intelligence techniques such as machine learning to inform a precision medicine approach to patient management. Indian Ocean Studies Conference 2021

The biennial Indian Ocean Studies Conference provides an important venue for researchers, scholars, policy-makers, students and the general public to meet and share their thoughts and ideas on this significant region. Cicada Medlab: Commercialisation 101

Cicada Innovations is bringing their first national workshop series, Cicada MedLab: Commercialisation 101 to Perth. WA Watch Party - AusBiotech 2021: Biotech Blueprint and Closing Ceremony

The MTPConnect WA Life Sciences Innovation Hub is pleased to be hosting a viewing event of the final two sessions at AusBiotech 2021 on Friday, 29th October at the Telethon Kids Institute Seminar Room, Level 5 of the Perth Children’s Hospital.

The AusBiotech panel session ‘Biotech Blueprint’ is focused on the future of Australian biotechnology over the coming decade will be livestreamed to the room.

After a light lunch we’ll tune in to the Official Closing Ceremony and then hear from the WA AusBiotech Chair, Dr Samantha South and Committee Member Professor Kevin Pfleger about plans and opportunities for AusBiotech 2022, which will be hosted in Perth!

This course has been specifically designed for: 

  • Software developers and IT professionals.

  • Healthcare professionals.

  • Business professionals.

  • Postdoctoral researchers and academic staff.

We welcome all aspiring entrepreneurs and innovation staff with a passion for digital health.
